Mixed Reality experience helps salespeople better understand the car's hidden technologies
Challenge
Modern cars are getting smarter thanks to technologies like radar and cameras, but how do you explain these invisible gadgets to salespeople who can't see them? How do you make sure they understand this technology quickly?
Solution
We created a Mixed Reality experience, where you can explore a real car with Microsoft's HoloLens. With these glasses you not only see the car itself, but also get additional information about it. During a 6-minute tour, you can walk around the new A-Class and virtually activate the car's sensors. You see how the car looks around and reacts to what is happening. You also see situations where these sensors are really used, such as when virtual cars and cyclists enter the detection zones and alarms go off in the car at the same time. At the end of the tour, all the sensors are activated, so you can see the huge range of sensors around the car.
Impact
This experience ensures that salespeople around the world understand the latest technologies of the Mercedes A-Class. This allows them to better advise customers, resulting in better sales results and satisfied customers.
